ECUA business offices will be closed on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, November 28.
In the course of investigative work for the Downtown/Bruce Beach “Sleuthing” project, debris was discovered in the storm drain at Garden and Spring Streets. This location is the immediate upstream area of testing that revealed E.coli from human sources detected in the Spring Street storm sewer. The City of Pensacola, FDEP, and ECUA contributed to ultimately locating this point source.
ECUA is committed to providing efficient and financially conservative service to our customers while upholding our duty to safeguard the utility’s future and our environment. While we have experienced moderate rising costs over the past few years, there have been record-setting inflation levels in 2022.
The ECUA held its Organizational Board Meeting for 2022-2023 on Tuesday, November 15. Ms. Lois Benson and Mr. Dale Perkins, re-elected to their district seats, were sworn in as representatives to Districts Two and Four, respectively.
A small fire started in the plastics bunker at the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) Friday evening around 6:15 pm.
ECUA business offices will be closed on Monday, September 5, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. ECUA offices, including our Customer Service Department, will re-open on Tuesday, September 6, at 8:30 am.
