We care deeply about our community because we live, work and play here too! We are committed to making a positive difference in Escambia County through outreach and education and consider it a privilege to participate in community events and provide resources to our customers. Each year, ECUA provides the Quench Buggy to local events and festivals, organizes tours of ECUA facilities, and engages with students and civic organizations to provide information on how our local utilities work.
ECUA's Quench Buggy and public information staff distributed award-winning, freshly chilled water and information on how our utilities work, including information on recycling, FOG, flushable wipes, composting and the elimination of sanitary sewer overflows.
ECUA’s Education Programs Specialist puts on programs for students at local libraries, schools, and community centers. Presentations include information on where our drinking water comes from, how wastewater gets cleaned, and how to recycle right! Interested in scheduling a program? Send us an inquiry!
We provide adult education, too! Civic organizations and networking groups can set up a presentation from ECUA on the topics of water, wastewater, recycling, FOG, flushable wipes, composting and more! Facility tours are also available upon request.
