If you are in need of assistance outside of normal business hours, please call our Emergency After Hours phone line: (850) 476-5110. You may submit Emergency After Hours Form to notify evening/weekend operations (from 5:00PM to 8:30AM) about assistance needed for selected problem related to water or sewer at your account's service location.
Please include your service location's address, photo attachments of issue, along with your phone # number for ECUA emergency crew staff to call as soon as possible.

A sudden increase could be due to increased usage, seasonal changes, or leaks. Check for running toilets, dripping faucets, or underground leaks.
Turn off all water sources and check your meter. If it’s still moving, you may have a leak.

If your cans or yard trash was placed at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on your scheduled collection day and was still missed, we're here to help. Please contact ECUA Customer Service by phone: (850) 476-0480 or email: customer.service@ecua.fl.gov. We'll work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible—often the same day or the next.
The “Core Four”:
1. Mixed paper and cardboard
2. Plastic containers labeled #1 and #2
3. Metal food and beverage cans
4. Glass jars and bottles
There's no need to rinse or remove labels, but containers should be mostly empty—like a peanut butter jar that is “spoon clean.”
Yes! Place it in compostable paper bags, non ECUA trash cans, or in a separate pile for collection on your regular collection day. No scheduling is required. For more details about proper disposal, view the "Yard Trash Collection" dropdown box here.
Since launching our composting program in 2016, we’ve been working to reduce plastic in yard waste. Help us keep it clean by switching to compostable paper yard waste bags—available at home improvement stores or online.
