Beginning Friday, July 24, 2026, the Fayal Drive entrance to the Bayou Marcus Boardwalk will be closed Monday through Friday for approximately three months due to construction improvements taking place at the Bayou Marcus Water Reclamation Facility.

The closure is necessary to accommodate construction activity and traffic associated with the project. Construction work will occur during weekdays only, and the Fayal Drive entrance will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays.
