A Sanitary Sewer Overflow -SSO- occurred on January 7, at 413 Elcino Drive (manhole # 19009467), due to a grease blockage in the sanitary sewer collection system. The overflow was estimated at 75 gallons and was contained on site. Bacteriological sampling was not required.

ECUA crews cleared the blockage and cleaned the overflow area with a biocide agent that abated any contamination concerns, per State protocol. In accordance with standard operating procedures, the ECUA notified the County Health Department and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
